We had a wonderful experience going to watch the SUU Ballroom Dance Team, and then visiting the science dept.. Read the comments below to see the students' reactions!
I liked the experience of being on a college campus because it just lets me now how it will feel when I'm older. I liked the Michael Jackson tribute they did cause it was just fun and cool! The salsa dance cause it was energetic and fun! When we went to he chemist room I liked the feeling cause I felt older. The best part of the whole field trip is when we saw the dance.
I think I am going to go to SUU when I go to college. And I am going to do Chemistry,Physics and Geology. And the Ballroom Dancing looked really cool too I liked all the dances but one.
I think that we where having fun at suu the dance perfomans had good dancer they danced a lot of people they did diffrent dances that where really good at the college place we did this foum thing and tride to make it fly up and myn was the biggest one in the lab and we went to the fossil guy and he tot us a lot about fossils and we got to see how they look like.
Today we went to a field trip to SUU. We saw some ball room dancing they were funny,sad,cha cha, Michael Jackson,and Harry Potter. Then we went to Physics class and we found out how to make things go fast. We learned how magnets make an electricity charge.We went to chemistry and we made "Great Stuff" and we got golden penny's it was awsome. There was a preacher guy there too.We walked around almost the whole campass.It was awsome.
I liked the ballroom dance. One of my favorite parts was when they gave Michael Jackson the little tribute. The songs on that dance where,Beat It, Bad, Thriller ,and some other ones.
There was another dance about a dude that was a geek. He asked a girl to the prom. The girl said yes and after that the geek dude started to say I am to sexy for my love.
We seen him turn fire different colors red, green, and blue it was some sort of liquids and then he had a tub with more liquid and made a big boommmm. I want to take chemistry when I am in colledge.
I liked when we looked at the fossils they also were some really thin pieces of fossil and then we seen a backbone of a salmon and it is like a dot in a 5 to 6 foot long fish. Then we got to look at something through a telescope and it was a really weird looking thing.
I liked the dances some cause some were really funny and there were like these geeks and they wanted to ask the head cheerleader to the prom and then she said yes and he started singing a really funny song were all the cheerleaders were dancing with the geeks.
At the College, we went to 4 places. First we went to the dance to watch some ball dances, there funny and short ones. One of the funny ones was when this guy wanted to ask someone out to the prom, he was nerdy, and she also wanted to ask him. So they get all settled to go out dancing and when it started, he tried to rip off his shirt when the song went "I'm to sexy for my shirt" and failed and got tired.
I loved everything about this field trip!!! Here are my favorite parts about it. My favorite part was all the dancing. I love to dance and Ballroom one of my favorite types. I love all the moves and fun costumes. My favorite costume was defenatly the yellow halter one. It is very hard for me to pick a favorite dance, but if I had to it was probably the Michael Jackson. Sorry if all the yelling, screaming, and clapping gave you a headache!! I am surely going to be a dancer!!! My favorite part of all the science was the chemistery. I liked the part with the foam. I also liked the gold penny part. I think that chemastery is a lot of fun. The dancing is still my favorite, but I also liked the chemistery! I liked being on a collage campass. Okay so maybe the lady tanning in the bikini was a little weird, but at least there was only one girl. The man preaching was a little different, but I have never seen any thing like that before. I think that it was fun. I think this was one of my favorite field trips we have had this year. I am definatly going to be a dancer and I definatly want to go to collage.I really want to go to collage at BYU. I had a really good time and would do it again!!!!!
I think that it would be really fun dancing in front of the odiance. When if I was one of the dancer I would be really scared and then just go to the back stage and one of my favorite dances was when someone asked a girl to the prom and then then this guy started to sing the funest song and it was really funny.
I liked the chemistry class because the foam we made and the reason I liked the foam experiment is because the teacher did it before and I wanted to try it out for my self and this time when I did it mine was A little better than teacher.I had a different color than the teacher because I used dye.
It was the funnest field trip I've ever been on. I liked the chemistry the best because I'm a science person. The first thing that we did in chemistry is the insulation stuff then we did the golden pennies and we talked about physical and chemical changes.
This blog that is for our class to practice writing skills. I don't want us to be overly concerned with spelling, as this will sometimes inhibit our ability to write freely. I want you to be able to write what's on your mind and find the joy in writing for others to read. This is a place for you to share your ideas. I think we will have fun reading about each other, and expressing ourselves. This is new to most of us, so let's experiment and have fun!

ReplyDeleteWe went to the SUU to learn science,cemmestery. We wached 08 dances. We seen dionosor bones and it was asome so we could know about the bones.
