The Sights and Sounds of Christmas Time
What kinds of images come to your mind when you think about celebrating Christmas?

I like seeing Christmas trees at night when there all turned on and shining way bright in the dark and watching the snowman all built in different yards. Also when snow is new and it hasn't been touched by anything that is an awesome sight.
ReplyDeleteI like the smell of morning breakfast so tasty and yummy but usually Christmas morning breakfast is sausage, egg and pancakes smelling delightful.
Also hearing the bells ring on the door when you open the door and close it. But my very favorite on Christmas day is usually all the snow and snowball fights against your brothers and sisters!!!
That is what I love about Christmas!!!

brothers sledding on this really big hill.I also like to hear my brothers laughing their heads off
when my little brother goes down the hill.One time my little brother was going down the hill so fast that he hit the jump and went flying and he hit his head.It was so funny that even he was laughing.Anyway those are the sights and sounds that I like to see and
hear.
The images I see when I think about Christmas is me and my cousinsmy uncle my aunt and my uncles bestfriend playing a board game and the sight of my uncle cooking the best Christmas dinner and us playingcards opening presents and sitting down as a family.Myfavorite sights and sounds of Christmas are Christmas music and my aunts bells my favorite sight is me and my famil sitting down thinking about the future.My favorite smell of Christmas is my aunts deviled eggs and hot cocoa and smores most of all my uncles famous dinner.That's why I love Christmas.
ReplyDeleteEvery year I wake up at 4:00 in the morning and wake up my other brothers and they say go back to bed its 4:00 in the morning.And I say but its christmas.So then they wake up then sometimes if they don't wake up I just sit on the stair case and stare at the tree and all of the presents after a while I just go wake up my dad and mom.Then they all wake so whe can open our presents and then we eat our breakfast.
ReplyDeleteOne day on Christmas morning I went and saw the most beatiful water fall in the northern rocky mountains. I went and looked at the water fall it looked like cristals stuck in one spot until it melted again. That was the most beautiful sight I ever saw.
ReplyDeleteI had a really fun experiance a few years ago. I went to Temple Square up in Salt Lake City. There the trees are all lit up with Christmas lights. It is at the Salt Lake Temple. The grounds are so beautiful and it makes you feel so good as you walk around. It is so colorful and so appealing. I love going to Temple Square.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite thing to do on Christmas Eve is to sit and watch movies and snuggle in blankets. I love to watch the Home Alone movies. Last Christmas Eve my family and I were watching a movie and the kid in it said a bad word and his mom made him suck on a bar of soap. So we go into the bathroom to brush our teeth and my little sister squirts some of the soap into her mouth. She finds out that soap does not taste very good at all. But anyways I love to sit and watch Christmas movies on Christmas Eve.
i love christmas is the light and geting present giveing present. Last year my granpa got muser and he all most dide becuse of it and so i sade with my sister and one of ther christmas and one of ther tudison is to find 200 hunderd santa's and it is so much fun!

ReplyDeleteThe best sight there of Christmas my mom isn't so stressed for at least an hour that is good because she is always stressed.Then another of my favorite sightings is that there is tons of Christmas spirit and my brother and sisters enjoying Christmas.The best thing I hear nobody cares about the presents they care about Jesus being born.

On Cristmas eve at night time before I go to bed my
whole family gets to look in are stockings and I all
ways get a lot of candy and some times I get a couple of toys and when it is time to go to bed we
get to sleep by my Cristmas tree and when I see a lot of presants on my table then when I wake up in the morning it is like five in the morning and then I just whate until all the rest of my family is a wake and then aftermy family eats breakfest then when my family is just done eating my family and then my family un rapes are presants then some times Igo to my grandmas or I stay and eat coockies .
What I alway's hear is what did I get for Christmas I now what you wanted for Christmas.

My favorite part about Christmas is this big Christmas party my family always has each Christmas. My favorite site is the Christmas tree how its lights glow another part is the Christmas lights how I love how they glow at night and how when you see them you now that Christmas is almost here.I also love to see the snow fall it just means that Christmas is in the air .

When I wake up on Christmas I always wait at the stairs and look at how beautiful the Christmas tree is and I think of Christmas things like how wonderful the trees look when there is snow on them,and how all the little kids look while they are building snowmen .I love to drink hot chocolate be the Christmas tree and I think about back then and how they celebrated it! I love to smell the sweet smell of the breakfast my family prepared for are Christmas breakfast My most favorite thing at Christmas is that we get to be with our family's and it is not about the presents it's about being with your family and having fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteLast year close to Christmas, we went to Beaver to camp there for a while. There were a lot af mountains and Palm Trees up there. There was a pond full of seaweed, but freezing. I loved seeing the beauty of the mountains. We ate punkin pie, some rabbit, fish, and candy. I liked the sweet scent of the punkin pie, the punkin pie was home made and shaped as a cake and it was actully pumkin cake. We went canoeing and some of us went fishing across the pond. That's where we got the fish. Then we ate some of the left over food for dinner then went in the trailer then went to sleep. The next morning we ate some rabbit and fish took a shower with a hose and then left, that felt like the best Christmas ever.
ReplyDeleteIt's a cold and dark night I am asleep. There are candy corns and candy canes dancing in my head. I am waiting for Christmas day and the wonderous presents that await. As snow slowly glide to the to the cold hard ground with out a sound. Then suddenly my sister wakes me she says hurry lets look at the Christmas tree .We race to be there first one to see when we finally get their. There's presents stacked chest hi. It's an amazing sight I couldn't believe my eyes! So we got my mom and dad up and made breakfast then unwrapped our presents finding amazing things. This Christmas was defannetly better than last Christmas. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!
